There are a few new features on the 2017 Jeep Wrangler. It will receive new LED headlights and fog lamps this is optional for the Sport and Sport S trim levels and standard on Sahara and Rubicon trim levels. Another new package is the Cold Weather Group that is available on Sport S and Rubicon models. This package includes 17-inch BF Goodrich KO2 tires, engine block heater, all-weather slush mats, Power Convenience Group, heated seats, and remote start.
Under the Wrangler's Hood
Every 2017 Jeep Wrangler has a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The standard is four-wheel drive and it includes high- and low-range gearing. The Rubicon has short gearing and an upgraded transfer case with an extra-low crawl ratio. The standard transmission is a six-speed manual transmission with hill start assist. A five-speed automatic with both hill start assist and hill descent control is optional. The Wrangler can tow a maximum of 2,000 pounds. It has an approach angle of 42.2 degrees, a breakover angle of 26.8 degrees, and a departure angle of 32.3 degrees.
Design of Jeep Wrangler
The lineup for the 2017 Jeep Wrangler has four models: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon. The Sport levels includes some features like on/off-road tires, skid plates, tow hooks, foglights, removable doors, a fold-down windshield, manual mirrors and locks, and an eight-speaker sound system with a CD player and an auxiliary audio jack. The Sahara includes some features like automatic LED headlights, LED foglights, additional painted exterior body panels and trim, and hood insulation for reduced noise. The Rubicon model includes some features like a heavy-duty Dana 44 front axle, shorter 4.10 axle gearing, the standard transmission is manual, but there is an option for automatic, an upgraded transfer case with a lower crawl ratio, electronic front and rear locking differentials, an electronically disconnecting front sway bar, and rock rails. You can upgrade the Sport and Sahara to a 3.73 ratio. There are a lot of added features for each model. A limited-slip differential is optional for Sport and Sahara, half doors with plastic side windows and manual locks for the Sport and Rubicon, and automatic climate control and leather upholstery with heated front seats for the Sahara and Rubicon. There is an option on every model to have a nine-speaker Alpine sound system and the Connectivity Group that adds a tire-pressure monitor display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth phone connectivity, a trip computer, and an upgraded version of the Uconnect 430 touchscreen that includes a USB port, a media player interface, 28 gigabytes of digital music storage, and navigation. There are two special edition packages: The Willy's Wheeler and the 75th Anniversary Wrangler. The cargo space for the two door is 12.8 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 55.8 cubic feet when the backseat is folded down.

There are two dozen safety and security features available for the Wrangler. It includes the basics like anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control, and front airbags.
