New 2017 Chrysler 300 at Browning Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram for Chino, CA
This is a sophisticated yet fun car, at ease on the highway or the backroads, and it carries an air of class with its look. The Chrysler 300 series tends to look more wide and balanced than other cars, plus it rocks its signature grille. The Chrysler 300 has smartphone integration as standard with the fourth-generation Uconnect system, which brings onboard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interior of the 300 makes a great impression with mitigated road noise, the latest technology, and stylish comfort. New 2017 features include a Ceramic Gray color choice, the double Exterior and Interior Sport Appearance Packages, and refining updates to the 300S model in particular. That new Ceramic Gray exterior paint color gives the 2017 Chrysler 300S a great understated yet present look, plus that model adds both heated and ventilated seats.
Under the 300's Hood
There are 2 engine choices available within the Chrysler 300, beginning with the 3.6L Pentastar V-6 variable-valve timing (VVT) engine which oversees power to the 300 with 292 horsepower (in the standard version) and makes 260 lb-ft of torque. The alternate engine is the 5.7L HEMI V-8 VVT with Fuel Saver Technology (and interactive deceleration fuel shut-off), which gets 363 horsepower and manufactures 394 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are put with a responsive 8-speed automatic transmission. The 300S model gains a sport-tuned suspension (RWD only), LED foglights, and steering calibration! Every 2017 Chrysler 300 model is obtainable with the most technologically ahead AWD system in the current mid-size sedan market! This AWD system uses an active transfer case and front-axle-disconnect function as it appropriately vacillates between all- and rear-wheel drive (with no driver input) to boost fuel economy. Drivers can elect one of two drive systems: the standard rear-wheel drive or the optional all-wheel drive (available on all models).
Design of Chrysler 300
For 2017, the Chrysler 300 can be found in four models choices: the 300S, 300 Limited, 300C, and the 300C Platinum. Standard on the 300C Platinum (and possible on the 300C) is the 900-watt amplifier, subwoofer, and 19-speaker combo (inside the Harman Kardon Audio Group)! The brand-new, fourth-gen Uconnect System lets smartphone integrations occur as standard on all 2017 Chrysler 300 models. The Alloy Edition Package is new and fits well with the 300S trim with its Dark Bronze accenting, black Nappa leather with caramel-colored stitching, and a blacked-out exterior. The 300C Platinum model uses model-exclusive Platinum Chrome finishes, French accent-stitching, a sport mode with paddle shifters, 20-inch polished-aluminum wheels, natural-pore wood that is hand-sanded, quilted Nappa leather seats and door panels to complement the signature 2-tone Indigo/Linen interiors (Black is an option), and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a customized chrome accent halo! Android Auto can utilize Google voice search, Google Maps, and Google Play Music through the Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen (or via steering-wheel mounted controls). Apple CarPlay is right after that and gets iPhone owners access to Apple Maps, Apple Messages, phone and Apple Music through Siri Voice control (or through the Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen). The new Uconnect system installs performance items like a fast startup time, more processing power, strong imagery engines, and high resolution for crisp graphics. The 8.4-inch touchscreen with navigation lets multi-touch gestures work with the latest swipe, pinch, and tap functions.
